Oyster Shucking at The Hermit
Join us for an oyster shucking workshop at The Hermit on Green Street, a small, thoughtfully curated shop in Hingham filled with vintage pieces, books, art, and home goods - with a special love for local female artists and woman-owned brands.
Owner of bump ‘n brine and local oyster farmer, Connor, will bring oysters straight from his farm, along with all the gear needed, and share a bit about how they’re grown and what you’re tasting along the way.

Learn to Play Mahjong with City Mahj @ The Hermit
Join us for a Learn to Play Mahjong Night at The Hermit in Hingham, hosted by City Mahj.
Be it you’re brand new or looking to brush up on your skills, this relaxed, social evening is the perfect way to learn the game everyone is talking about. City Mahj will lead a guided, beginner-friendly Mahjong instruction and 1-2 games to test your skills all while you socialize and sip.

Pottery Painting at The Hermit
Choose a pootery studio piece: The Rituals Mug and Saucer ($129/person) or The Ruffles Bud Vase ($109/person) and enjoy a two hour pottery painting experience led by Pooterie Studio owner! Three weeks later, bring home your glazed and fired piece!
Tickets are limited to 12 spots total. All pieces are fully handmade, one at a time, in a studio in Somerville, MA. No two will be exactly alike.
